I woke up in a funk:
Like the world came in
And shifted everything in my life
2 inches to the left.
Not enough to pinpoint the change,
But enough my brain is screaming
And my knees are bruised.
My OCD is giving me fits;
The walls are askew
And the floor off kilter.
The clocks are ticking backwards
Yet I am always 6 minutes late.
It’s a whole new world, but
The old rules still apply.
